    As Grand County's paper of record, The Times-Independent publishes public notices of many kinds submitted to the newspaper from local people and institutions.

    Grand County, Utah is now accepting sealed bids for construction of two concrete driveways, ADA access parking and concrete footers for metal stairs and ADA ramp. Bid specifications and site plan drawings are available online at

    A Mandatory Pre-Bid meeting for all interested bidders will be held on site on Thursday, March 19th, at 9 a.m. at 180 East 100 North. The contract award will be issued on or about April 1st, 2020, with notice to proceed given about April 13th, 2020. Project completion will be Mandatory by April 30, 2020.

    All sealed bids must be turned in to the Grand County Clerk/Auditor by 3 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24th, 2020 at 125 East Center Street, Moab, Utah 84532. Bids shall be mailed or delivered to Quinn Hall, Grand County Clerk/Auditor, 125 E. Center St., Moab, Utah 84532. No faxes or email bids will be accepted. Bids should be marked clearly “Bid – Sand Flats Office Concrete Driveways & ADA parking” on the outside of the envelope. Grand County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality of any bid, and to select the bid which provides the best product and services to Grand County.
