The impacts of COVID-19 notwithstanding, Grand County is ranked 8th out of Utah’s 29 counties as a good place to build a small business, according to a New York financial firm.

The study measured IRS data, determining the number of small businesses operating in each county, as well as how much income they generate. According to the study, Grand County ranked among the top places in Utah, after Summit County in first place, followed by Wayne, Wasatch. Morgan, Rich and Washington counties.
