If the pandemic hadn’t prematurely ended the 2019-2020 academic year in Grand County, it would have ended Friday, May 29. With that in mind, the Grand County School District will no longer deliver meals to students by bus.
Instead, as of Monday, June 1 through June 30, all children 18 years old and younger can receive a meal from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at a drive-through at Helen M. Knight Elementary School, 505 N. MiVida Drive.
The service will be in the loop at the front of the school where families can pick up breakfast and lunch. Children do not need to be in the vehicle to receive the food.
