    Notice is hereby given that the Grand County Service Area for Castle Valley Fire Protection (“Fire District”) approved a resolution on June 17, 2020 to hold a Special Election for one (1) position open on the Castle Valley Fire Commission/District Board, on November 3, 2020 to finish out the remainder of the term that ends on December 31, 2023.

    Qualified persons seeking to become a candidate must file a Declaration of Candidacy with the Fire District Clerk, Leta Vaughn, during the filing period July 6 to July 13, 2020 (and not later than 5:00 p.m. on July 13). Qualified persons must be a U.S. citizen, and a resident and registered voter within the Fire District for at least one (1) year preceding the election.
