I want to call attention to the lack of something in Moab this year. We had way, way more than our share of them last year. And, I couldn’t be happier.
I’m talking about mosquitoes. Remember last year where on the west side of the town there was a daily blood fest? Not good.
I know the runoff this spring was way down compared to last year and that has been a huge help. But I wanted to say thanks to the Moab Mosquito Abatement District and employees for the efforts keeping the mosquito population in check. I haven’t had to use bug spray once.
Being able to spend time outdoors without those blood-sucking, disease-spreading creatures is a real joy.
