Around 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 12 on her way home from work, Moab resident Petenia Pfnister collided head-on with a truck towing a covered trailer. Pfnister was in a 65 mile per hour zone on Highway 191 south of Moab.
First responders tended to an injured motorcyclist as witnesses and the other passenger in the incident watch. The motorcycle collided with a car in front of the Hoodoo Hotel on 100 West on Wednesday, Aug. 28.
Eyewitnesses who were mere feet away from a side-by-side that veered off Sand Flats Road near Rotary Park on Thursday afternoon said that the vehicle plowed through a vinyl fence, a small tree and a metal fence before skidding to a halt roughly 500 feet away.
