The Easter Jeep Safari concludes Easter Sunday and the event’s expo takes place at the Old Spanish Trail Arena Thursday and Friday. Items of interest to four-wheelers will be available for purchase at displays both inside and outside the arena.
A Letter to Public Radio Fans
On Saturday, March 30, Moab’s local bar Club Rio hosted an unusual fundraiser to support KZMU, Grand County’s public, solar-powered radio station.
KZMU will host an arm-wrestling tournament March 30 at Club Rio. The event, called KLAW or KZMU Ladies (and Lady identifying) Arm Wrestling, “wishes to create a wild and boisterous performance-based competition that is free of judgment and bias,” according to a press release from the radio station. “Our goal is to empower the community, raise funds for community radio in Moab, have a laugh and, of course, arm wrestle.
Took in KZMU’s presentation of “Uranium, the Musical.” Nice crowd for a Sunday afternoon matinee. I understand Saturday night was a packed house at Star Hall.
