The Sixth Annual Broadway Classics Show gets underway at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, March 29-30, at the Grand County High School auditorium. Starring locals and produced for the community, tickets for adults are $8. They are $5 for senior citizens and children and $25 for a family. All proceeds go to the GCHS band and drama departments.
The Behind the Rocks Ultra race highlights this week’s events calendar. The event features races of 50 miles, 50 kilometers, 30 kilometers and 10 miles, all in the “Behind the Rocks,” area of Moab beginning at 6 a.m. Saturday, March 23.
March 14, 6 p.m.: Grand County Library–A Walk Across Southern Utah. In 2017, Paul Magnanti spent 33 days walking across the width of southern Utah from the Nevada to the Colorado borders. During his journey of over 600 miles, he traveled through some of the most remote terrain in the continental United States. Magnanti will share the story of his journey through photos and tales from along the way.
“Uranium, the Musical” premiers at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 9 at Star Hall, 159 E. Center Street, with an encore performance at 2 p.m. Sunday.
